Is there any way to identify the aircraft with updated suites?

Just curious if the aircraft that have the new suites and J upgrades can be identified to see if they are operating on specific routes to Europe?

You could check the seat map. If it's an upgraded A380 there will be only 6 seats in first class.

Thanks for that. I signed up for Expert Flyer. I was looking for the new suites on CDG-MEL, but they are running the old suites on that route. Thanks again.

9V-SKU/SKV. Operating SQ222/231/305/322/860/863. With the occassional 232/222.

I'm booked on SQ222 in Jan with Mrs.Radio, with what looks like the old suites, should I select 1a/f and 2a/f in case of a plane change to the new configuration in order to stand a better chance at securing the adjoining suites.

Are there any rumours on sq222 being changed to the new a380 as well?

I thought they would rather add the new type to other cities than do 2x new a380 on Sydney to Singapore and return.

It's currently sq221 and sq232 that get the new aircraft

Edit: aah in jan.. guess it could happen

I didn't think it would be either for SQ222 but going by some of the previous comments above I started to get my hopes up.

Apparently the trick for identifying whether a flight is getting new suites is to look for 6 seats and 7 seats on a flexible booking engine.

I checked my upcoming flights in August and no such luck.
