Is the lounge access worth not flying 3K?

QF Status this year is a foregone zero, though the plan starting next March will regain it. Though I do have lounge access as a CX Gold.

So the question is SIN-KUL - do I fly 3K for the QF 10 SC and 800 points (neither of which amount to much in the overall scheme of things at 40% of the way to QF LTS) or do I fly MH for roughly equivalent cost but use the CX status to use their SIN lounge (and get a free late breakfast)?

I'll probably fly 3K on the return as it is a lower price.

MH closed their SIN lounge. They use SATS now. It's not a bad lounge from memory with several hot food options and the regular beverages. I suppose it's how much you value a QFF point?

SCs worth nix and 800 QF pesos to be stuck on a 3K bus without lounge access to soften the blow....MH all the way in this case

Just to note: The super cheap MH flight has a charge of $SG11 to select a reasonable seat.
Still worth it for the lounge access (I hope)

I am flying BNE-(EK)-SIN-(3K)-BKK tonight on a Qantas award for 28,000 QFF points and ~AUD170. Not the most efficient use of points but one-way flights were not cheap when I booked a couple of weeks ago. ~4 hours without lounge access was the least of my worries.
