Is Norfolk Island a Qantas International Destination?

Even in those rare instances where you are flying domestically from the international terminal, presumably you must show your boarding pass and passport to purchase duty free, no? And presumably the people working at the duty free store would not be allowed to sell items on a duty free basis if you present a domestic boarding pass.

Yes, BP and passport needed to buy duty free. No, duty free not allowed on a D sticker.

Am thinking of a short trip away but noticed that our passports expire in July. I understand that a passport is not required for Norfolk and that a driver's licence will suffice. Any recent experience that this is still the case?

Also, I'm wondering if I'ld be able to buy duty free? I'ld have a valid passport and boarding pass, just that the passport is expiring soon. I've never taken any notice of whether the duty free people check the validity date of passports.
