Is COVID app check-in still required at VA lounges?

I had a look on the VA website but couldn't find anything referring to this, so please forgive me if I've missed it - I'll be flying HBA-MEL-CBR later this week, and the return trip a week later, and will be using the CBR and MEL lounges. I haven't flown since August last year, and whilst I had everything else sorted when I travelled and had downloaded the apps for ACT and NSW, travel permits etc, I didn't realise I needed to check in at the MEL VA lounge (was just transiting through on the return trip) and had to download the Victorian COVID check-in app when I got there.

I'll be wearing masks as much as possible anyway, and have full vaccination status etc etc but not sure what else is required. I'm currently looking through the requirements for all three states to make sure I'm up to speed this time, but wasn't sure what the case was with the VA lounges and whether COVID app check-in is still required? Thanks.

Covid check in hasn’t been required in Vic for a while now.
Thanks - it hasn't been in Tasmania for a while either (except for some specified premises) but thought I'd better check just in case so I can download apps if needed before I go - I have an old iPhone, and it takes ages to download apps etc - even worse when standing in an airport and trying to get signal or use their Wifi LOL.

No check in when I was at the MEL lounge on 27 May... But what is taking time is security - the queue stretched all the way down the corridor outside the lounge after the premium exit shut at 6 pm!

Eek! Thanks for the heads up!

The only thing I see that reminds me that covid was an issue is mask wearing. Everything else is out the door, and if you don't bring your own mask I find most times there is someone handing them out at the airport and major public transport stops..
