Is AFF soon to be a "Subscription" only forum?

A question to admin which possibly affects many of us.

I noted last night, when logged into AFF, I was automatically directed to the subscription page. It didn't matter which tab I clicked, I was directed to the subscription page. Did anyone else notice this?

For the record, I have chosen not to subscribe and I feel I do help feed the AFF coffers by being a regular poster which helps towards keeping the AFF hit rate up (which I believe the advertisers look at and tailor their payments around).

So will us non-subscribers soon be asked to subscribe?

Combining a phone charger and phone holder our Magnetic Wireless Car Phone Charger quickly charges your phone while driving without tangled cords!

Suitable for car dashboard air vent installation, our wireless phone charger makes phone calls and GPS navigation easier more convenient.

I had a similar issue last night but as I am a subscriber I assumed it was a temporary IT glitch.

This problem has obviously now been resolved. I think the forum can survive and grow with both paid and unpaid members

No plans to change our subscription model.

There have been issues with new members getting their welcome emails, and last night I was trying to identify the cause by testing various settings. Some of these tests caused the issue you experienced. It should be OK now (and yes, new members are now getting they welcome emails!)

I would say temporary glitch. Happened twice to me last night.
