AFF Introducing a new Drop Down Category for "Classifieds"

Further to my announcement in December where we introduced drop down menus for Questions, Promotions and Wiki threads, we are now adding a new drop down menu for Classifieds!

At this stage this drop down includes only "Free" threads, but the intention is to introduce other categories (such as Buy, Sell etc) as suggested by SeatBackForward earlier this month.

As you may know, all members have been able to offer free items by posting in the Free to a Good Home forum. We will be closing this forum and ask that you now post your free items in the most relevant AFF forum, with a "Free" prefix. For example, if you are offering a Qantas Lounge Pass, then please post it in the Airport Lounges (sub)forum and add the "Free" prefix.

As with the old Free to a Good Home forum, the following guidelines apply:

• The "Giver" cannot expect anything in return for the item. You are giving the item away for FREE. Specifically, you are not selling the item nor swapping it for something else.

• The "Receiver" will be expected to reimburse the "Giver" for the actual postage, if applicable. This is the actual postage, and not any "admin" fees.

• All AFF Posting Guidelines apply. See Posting Guidelines. Specifically,

  the solicitation and/or the exchange of frequent flyer points and airport lounge guest passes

  is not permitted.
