International Travel Insurance

Does anyone know of any Company offering international medical and repatriation insurance at the moment? I still have a contract to work in Tokyo for the Olympics but the Organising C'tee/IOC require insurance coverage. I cannot find any organisation offering insurance due to the closed border and Smart Traveller 'do not fly' advice but thought I would pose the question here before I go back and tell them that it is impossible to secure at this time for travel from Australia.

It is my view that they need to accept some responsibility if they want to use our expertise to deliver the Games but they appear to want to limit their exposure if there are cases during the event. I will be fully vaccinated and not working at the venues or with athletes so feel safe attending.

"I agree that I participate in the Games at my own risk and own responsibility, including any impact on my participation to and/or performance in the Games, serious bodily injury or even death raised by the potential exposure to health hazards such the transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious disease or extreme heat conditions while attending the Games."

I've seen that and don't like it at all. At previous Games, the Contract always covered medical assistance while in the Host City. However, the IOC/OC Playbook does require us to have Insurance. I've had a long relationship with the Olympics so awaiting an update. My agreement does not currently contain those words.
