Have some american friends staying with me at the moment. I can buy a US-Aus adaptor but would prefer to buy them an international multi like this Kensington 33117 International All-in-One Travel Plug Adapter.

The usual suspects do not seem to carry it. Anyone know where I might be able to buy one in Sydney?

I think I've seen them in Harvey Norman... but prices aren't that great (IIRC, $40-$50ish).

That particular adaptor is OEM'd by many companies (eg you can get unbranded versions, Swiss Travel Product versions and even one of the high end retail chains (Louis Vuitton comes to mind) has a $500 version of it too in a very nice bag!

If you buy it from a U.S store, expect to only pay about $US15 for it. Once again the Aussie surcharge appplies...

have a KORN brand one.
think i even got it at officeworks.
worldwide combinations.
we also take a powerboard with us. 4 or 6 plug.
that we only need the one adaptor, and then can still plug in all phones/cameras/laptops for 3 people.

Thanks but that won't work they need to plug in US appliances here and in Europe.

Tumi is the best adaptor system and worth having.
This brand is harder to buy in Australia and Tumi products could become a wealth hazard if you fall in love with their leather bags and wallets.

Before too long there will be a stock exchange listing!
Had not seen the adaptor but I knew about the scales.

Anything plug, adaptor or cable related, in fact IT at all, i look on ebay these days... instead of spending $20-30 in the shops they are often $1-5... may take a week or two get here from HK or wherever, but not being ripped off anymore...
