The product is advertised as having a dedicated flight attendant.

[Still 1:32 or 1:40 is still a high ratio. Business has about 1:10 and 1st 1:7]

Was there indeed a dedicated flight attendant? How dedicated was the dedicated FA?

I flew Qantas SFO to SYD about 10 days back in premium economy. Yes, there was a dedicated attendant. He introduced himself to me as "the dedicated premium attendant".

edit : Food was reasonably good, wine was good (I was drinking Balnaves Coonawarra cab sav), Whisky and stickies were pretty much the same as business class (Glenlivet scotch, good moscatel).

Qantas do read their surveys....
During the flights above we were asked to complete a survey, with our cmments on the flight.
We generally praised the new product, however gave some constructive ocmments, particularlyin relation to the very uncomfortable foot rest (bet Marc Newson's never tried it for 13 hrs LHR-SIN) and the FAs not knowing what PE pax were entitiled to and imagine our surprise when we received a $100 David Jones gift voucher today by way of 'Our expectations not being met as they should be by a premium airline such as Qantas.'
There ya go............

Excellent to receive a voucher. On my recent flight in premium economy the apologised that they didn'yt have a full crew and couldn't give us the complete service. I don't know what was missing - perhaps drink offers. Too bad I wasn't asked to fill in a survey.
