Does your main phone have an eSIM? There are some good bundles (mostly data) available via app/QR you can install before you fly or when land.Time to dust off the travel phone. With the demise of the Australia Post travel sim, can any contributor suggest where to get a reasonably priced sim for international use.
This includes NZ, Europe and USA.
Thanks in advance.
I had a very bad experience in South America with Flexiroam and very poor customer service. They wouldn't be my first choiceDoes your main phone have an eSIM? There are some good bundles (mostly data) available via app/QR you can install before you fly or when land.
I have a Flexiroam X eSIM but haven’t had a chance to try it:
Truphone is another which I have used and probably about to get a UK/Euro package to complement my Optus included roaming data allowance.
Or you can now switch your primary account from physical SIM to eSIM so free up the physical slot for travel SIMs - if that combo works better.
Sorry I only use the sim card in Asia so cannot comment on the USThanks cosi, it appears that the USA cards won’t allow calls to Australia. Am I reading this correctly?
