Time to dust off the travel phone. With the demise of the Australia Post travel sim, can any contributor suggest where to get a reasonably priced sim for international use.
This includes NZ, Europe and USA.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks cosi, it appears that the USA cards won’t allow calls to Australia. Am I reading this correctly?

SIM corner are good

SimCorner® | Buy Prepaid TraveI SIM Cards & International Roaming SIMs and I know a lot of others use Best International Travel SIM Cards | SimsDirect

If you're a choice member they did a review recently. You can often read through your local library

Does your main phone have an eSIM? There are some good bundles (mostly data) available via app/QR you can install before you fly or when land.

I have a Flexiroam X eSIM but haven’t had a chance to try it:

Truphone is another which I have used and probably about to get a UK/Euro package to complement my Optus included roaming data allowance.

Or you can now switch your primary account from physical SIM to eSIM so free up the physical slot for travel SIMs - if that combo works better.

My phone is too simple to accommodate an estimated unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will just take an additional phone.

I had a very bad experience in South America with Flexiroam and very poor customer service. They wouldn't be my first choice

I am with Telstra here in OZ, but need more than 1Gig per day and ain't willing to pay $10 per GB.

I'm looking for a solution that:

*Allows people to contact me on my AUS number
*Gives me more data than 1Gb pet day for $10.

Am looking for 5-10 GB per day

I'm heading to the USA & Canada in just under 3 weeks for a month, and am interested in some suggestions.

Whether I need to take action here to implement a plan is important.

Thx
