I haven't managed to find much information on international connections through CGK.

I land from Sydney and have 1hr 20mins before flight on to KUL. I only have hand baggage and have already checked in for my CGK-KUL flight.

Any experiences or advice is welcome.

Here's my experience from last week.

I was ticketed in business BKK-CGK (TG), CGK-SIN (SQ), with 3 hours to make the connection.

There is a transfers "desk" of sorts near the "visa on arrival" payment booths on the way to Immigration. It's reasonably well signposted and was manned by a couple of security staff. I wandered over to them and showed them my onward boarding pass. They then opened a gate and allowed me to take the escalator to the departures level, where I was free to roam at will and go to the new gate (or into the lounge in my case). The whole process took about 60 seconds.

However, it all depends on the transfers desk being manned. In my case it was around 12 noon, but I've previously seen it unattended at other hours.
