Influencers would not be so infamous and somewhat despised if they behaved like reasonable, courteous human beings. Then, who would really care if they made their living by being behind a phone camera or showing off GRWM reels.

There’s also going to be some jealousy there; people who have no skills or knowledge, who don’t know anything about anything, making money out of being superficial & without working.

So much online content is "engagement bait" (or "enragement bait" sometimes). We all get sucked up in it from time to time. It's important to recognise it for what it is and not engage sometimes I think. I've had to hold back going online to correct people. Let them have their Dunning-Kruger moments.

There was a poor guy that had to take about 300 photos of his girlfriend until she was satisified with the picture. Mr Denali does not have such qualms about his influencer career, which sadly did not take off based on this pic, while he wandered the field like he micro-dosed on mushrooms and listening to late 60's psychedelic music
