Afternoon All.

Just got back from lax and was looking at taking advantage of booking some flights today with the bonus points offer from aquire.

It seems to the flex economy pricing has now jumped to 400 one way. (used to sit around the 370 mark)

Is this due to seasonal demand or is this something members have seen set for 2017 pricing?

Kindest regards

Well, I don't know about BNE-SYD, but CBR-SYD and CBR-MEL have been creeping up like clock works: they have it on $x for a while, then they have a 'special' for $x (minus something insignificant), and when it is finished the price 'goes back' to $x+delta. Rinse and repeat. In the 5 years I have been in Canberra, the cheapest CBR-MEL tickets have gone up from $109 to $179. That is an increase of about 64%.

Seasonal demand wouldn't really affect flex pricing, but more your red-e-deal/sale pricing/availability IMHO.

Yes, Flex (and J) fares have had a creep over the past year or so in most markets. Seems a steady increase over the past few years really. Extracting what they can from the business types I guess
