I did a MEL-SIN-MEL fare for mid May, came out MEL-(BA Codeshare on QF)-SYD-(BA16)-SIN-(BA Codeshare on QF)MEL for $799

I note the blackout dates are Chinese new year and Easter ...

That's consistent with what I see AKL-SIN, NZ$466++ each way, total NZ$1150.

Off to BKK in May; MEL-(BA Codeshare on QF)-SYD-(BA Codeshare on QF1)-BKK-(BA9)-SYD-(BA Codeshare on QF)-MEL for cost of AUD913.

Observations:

• the 15% discount for Accom/Car Hire is still available after completing the booking.
• As a QF WP was preallocated Seats in line with my profile. (35A on QF1 and 30A on BA9).
• Using BA MMB, I was able to preselect exit seat 29A on BA9 (774 Configured with no 28A/K seats).
• I could also select seats on BA7311 (Qantas flight QF1) but not exit row seats. (I will call for this.)
