The in-seat power for charging the IPOD (especially in Y) will come in handy if flying with these airlines - if the program goes ahead. The Australian said:Apple plugs into air travel

SIX major airlines are modifying jets so that iPods can be plugged into in-flight entertainment systems, beginning in mid-2007.
Apple said today that Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United Airlines would offer iPod seat connections to power MP3 players and allow films or other videos from the devices to be watched on seat-back screens.
But an Air France spokeswoman said it was premature to announce an iPod tie-up.
"We cannot confirm this agreement. We are waiting for the project to be farther along, but this cooperation remains possible," spokeswoman Veronicque Brachet said.
Apple said it was working with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to develop in-flight iPod systems for other airlines.
