immigration/luggage on QF25 SYD to BNE

Hi All,

arriving into SYD from NRT, but then connecting in the International terminal to QF25 to BNE International.
What happens in BNE when you fly this "international" flight? do they force you through immigration and customs? and if so can we just "transit" in SYD rather than do it all twice?

Assuming its all on the one ticket (and probably even if not but I'm not 100% sure) you can get bags tagged all the way through and collect both BPs in NRT. At SYD just follow the signs for international transit, show your onward BP and get carry-on rescreened before heading upstairs to departure level.

You then clear immigration and customs in BNE.
