Oh how the mighty have fallen

Not much domestic travel in past 2 years so have had to put all flights to QF to remain WP

This has meant a progressive fall from VA WP to SG and finally to Silver

Managed to get into lounge with guest pass but oh having to line up in the non premium line, then no greeting on board

BNE for the next 1/2 Hour, then again tomorrow from around 2pm/2:30pm

And the renovations rolls on here.... Hmmm.....

In the Brisbane lounge for 30 minutes place is rather busy, thank god for Gold to by pass that 100 person security line. Part of the reason for all the people is the cruise ship arrived back Saturday morning.

I am trying for a standard economy seat, will see how I cope.

VA lounge Perth, lounge is left of security, it almost feels you have to walk back through security, it's an odd set up.

Usual breakfast things available but why do milk jugs have to be on top of dishes, why can't they be placed on some sort of mate which would make it quieter, also the little tags for Full cream, skim and soy are hard to see.

In SYD EY lounge. Very nice and overall I like it more than ANZ. Only at brekkie tho, see how it compares at dinner time in a couple of weeks.

On a side note, the TV is on with the headline "One Direction Depression - how to help your teenager deal with grief". They are interviewing a grief counsellor. In a world with global warming, nuclear arms, unsustainable population, international war and the threat of terrorism, this is the first time I've really worried about the fate of our species.....

Collingwood players just starting to trickle into MEL lounge en route to tomorrow's game against the Lions at the Gabba. Just love it when the footy season returns. (you know what you can do with your imported rubbish) Always nice to fly into ADE, HOB, MEL et al and be greeted with normal goalposts too, as a side note.

Slightly off topic but seeing (A)NZ owns part of VA...
SYDi temp Koru Lounge not all that bad.
DIY hot dog stand eh!
Non Asian based foods.
Not a VA SG or NZ SG but didn't try my luck at SYDi SQ KF Lounge.
Ok.
That's one off my bucket list.

Please note this thread is for meetups in the various VA lounges, not a discussion on the lounges themselves.

I find myself in the MEL lounge until 16.00 hrs today (8th Apr). Come and say hello if you want, I'm on the raised level, far corner, pale blue jumper.

I'm in the newly extended BNE lounge for another hour due to weather related cancellations/delays in flights to SYD...
