Has anyone used their dining credit yet? For those that were given/promised $100 is it 2 x $50 dining credits or 1 x $100 dining credit?

P.S. I have seen the few posts above and still not quite clear how it works in practice.

Hi it is 2 x $50 Credits with only 1 being able to be used at a time.
Also you cannot use it in conjunction with the 25% discount.
Thanks. Still as clear as mud.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise on weekend. Staff know about eDining but no idea how much to discount. No way to know what discounts are on the card. Both Relish and Four Winds restaurants cannot scan the card. After about 10 minutes trying she manually gave me $100 discount.

I have a feeling the eDining vouchers are still on the card. If not then someone would need to remove manually.

As far as I understand you do not need to be staying to use the eDining vouchers or the 25% discount.

What a complex program.

I feel like they want to give out the voucher to make the deal sound better on paper but user satisfaction for renewing people would be much greater if the dining discount was stackable with the voucher. Would also cause a lot less issues for the staff. Maybe they could put down some other inflated value to make it sound as good ie full price spa treatment or similar

Hey mate -- had the exact same experience myself ..just replace the hotel i stayed at X with the one you stayed at. I reckon the Micros integration is not yet complete! I called 2 weeks later to the IHG Rewards phone number and both credits were still visible to the chap on the phone.

6 months on ..still no 'new codes' to book ...do we still use the Priority Privilege codes?

For example ...HI Parramatta has this deal ..does not equate to the old IDMPC code which was just 25% off but do I use IDMPC to book?

Regarding the above ....

I noted that page just a few hours ago, and now ..... IT'S GONE !!!!

All the next period offers have been wiped off the page ( or is it just my log in ?? )

I just called that 138 line number ...

They say, the whole promotion has sold out !!

I find that a bit hard to believe, as not only has every Australian offer been removed, but also the foreign offers as well !!

I hate that when it happens ....

Yeah, that was it, but I swear it was not showing when I made comment.

Anyway, when I rang, they told me there was only 6 rooms left for IC Sydney. I had a specific date in mind, and despite it not being a holiday date, was advised it wasn't covered by the promotion.

It seemed a bit odd ...

I had the same. They then hassled me to book another rate or other dates... managed to eventually hang up without being rude.

I don't know why bother offering 50% off if it's never available.

Interesting. Would you use the credits again or is that risky?

Is there any advantage to joining over the phone for AUD $319 rather than online for USD $225 (AUD $291 app)?

It would seem from reading the FAQs that I should be able to book the free night for whatever date I wish - no restrictions - would that be correct?

No but I think it's aligned to normal reward availability (though ihg say it isn't).

Also by calling some people have received bonuses or discounts

Has anyone recently attempted skipping the 800 phone number and hacked the codes to book the Newsletter offers ( Dining Rewards Hotel Offers | IHG ) direct via the website. I hate calling these phone numbers and it means I can't use Cashback sites. For example, can I use IDPMC code to book the 25% off at Darling Harbour Sydney this month or for the Sanctuary Cove in QLD would the IDPBG work for the Buy one Get one Free? If any of this has worked for you ...is there a code that can show the 20% rate that the Holiday Inn Potts Point has at the moment.

I am interested in the context of the IHG Dining Rewards only not the good old PP program I (we) loved to hate ...
