Just thought i would try here before i resort to purchasing the cheapest fare on *A (SQ) and having no upgrade chances (J is sold out, let alone upgrade) or points one way QF.
Prefer OW carriers since i have status.
I need to get from MEL-SIN or possible MEL-HKG would also be ok on 2nd June. Return is either not fixed but i always end up buying return tickets and never get to take advantage of the cheap tickets ex SIN.
Work is then paying SIN or HKG to PVG (Shanghai) on the 3rd June and back to SIN on 6th/7th June.
I was thinking on a trip to Europe in Late August if that helps... LHR,FRA etc is ok, as is HEL (If that opens up to any finnair specials anybody knows about)
Or i just do the QF return because it costs as much as one way anyway and set the date in advance and change when i know for sure when i will fly.
Just looking for a few ideas... maybe a LONE4 ?
Not feeling rich for a DONE4 and there is no D class available on the dates i need.
