Yep, remember the A380 competition last year?
I won return tickets for two to either LAX or London, plus $3,000 ground spend for hotels, hire cars etc.
Off to dear old blighty next weekend, BNE to SIN to LHR, ten days in South Kensington.
I'm a QFF Platinum member so we can use the J lounges.
Hmmm, wonder if I'll have any chance of an upgrade?
I know that prize tickets cannot be upgraded by your self, but I've had plenty of un requested upgrades before on cheap tickets.

Welcome back! :D

As posted you can use oneworld First Class lounges where available as a WP.

Thank you Serfty,
when the lovely Leanne from Qantas travel rang me I thought it was a wind up, took me a while to even remember entering the contest.
It's also good to see you online as I was hoping to ask your advice on a Qantas status credit run.
I've been a WP for five years , kinda get used to it, but now the company has gone to all Virgin & Emirates flights.
The deal they have done means we don't get the credits for any of our flights.
So, what I'd like to do is a S.C run on my breaks( I work 16 days on, 12 off) and go to the U.S at least twice a year.
I've got until 30th July next year to get my S.C's up, and plan on spending 4-5 weeks in the U.S next year in June/July.
I'd also lke to go to Tokyo in October for a week, looks like BNE-SYD-SIN-Narita return for 180 S.C's.
Any other good routes you recommend?
Thanks.
