I need an iPhone App that can chack flight details.

I have both MyFlights and Checkmytrip apps both of these will use an amadeus booking reference to get flight details. They can also check for updates. Myflights also allows manual entry of non amadeus bookings, which is useful. I mainly use myflights.

Not sure if there are apps for the other booking systems.

I am using Worldmate Gold which is only 99c at present and handles flights, accom and car hire, it's handy for checking where I have a dupe or missed res, has a nice plug in for outlook to one click-submit new bookings and has a web interface for SWMBO to check where I am.

Worldmate Gold sounds interesting. Does it (or Tripit for that matter) check for / alert for booking changes?

I’ve only tried Worldmate Gold, but wasn’t too into the whole concept so didn’t use it much, that said Velocity were offering a free Gold subscription to Worldmate earlier this year, so that’s who they chose for this job clearly.

A question for the TripIt experts. In the free version loaded on to your iPhone, does TripIt add the flight times to your calendar, or do you only see the schedule by accessing TripIt App in the phone? Thanks.

Yes, it updates flights and also alerts where accommodation etc is needed.

Thanks Looking into it. Seems that the 99c is US cents, as it appears to be $1.19 in AUD. Minor thing.

Do you know the annual subscription fee? First yera is free with the App, just wondering what the long term cost is, and I can't seem to find it on the worldmate website.
