On check in at Johannesburg we were directed to the Aspire lounge. Dark, food worse than at any other domestic lounge and rubbish wine. We didn’t eat, didn’t finish our wine and went to the BA lounge.
If Qantas thinks that the conditions we experienced are acceptable for business passengers then they should try it some time.

I went straight to BA lounge last week. QF64 delayed an hour, so maximized time in the lounge.
Staff were friendly and attentive, food was decent and ordering via QR code was efficient. Lounge was full, but not chaotic.
With A380’s being used soon, they do need look at it.
