Hyatt Canberra closes Ambassador (Club) Lounge permanently.

Ah, dear. That's not good news. I had noticed that hadn't been selling Club rooms for some time and hoped it wasn't a permanent thing. Clubs at Parks are out of step with the brand standard but I thought the lounge here was always quite decent. Given there's not so much as a 7/11 in walking distance, a 10% discount on F&B does nothing to alleviate the pain.

I guess the one upside is top tiers will likely get a full buffet breakfast in the restaurant.

Was so sad to hear about the Hyatt Canberra not having Club rooms anymore. As I like to visit the National gallery a couple times a year it was so easy to stay at park Hyatt. Being on my own and not a Hugh eater and older the club was perfect for me

Is this permanent? It seemed like the back part of the hotel was being renovated in my last stay including the lounge.

I am a huge fan of this property however I did notice a general tiredness and that the breakfast had been reduced in quality most likely under the guise of Covid.

My concierge says the lounge closed "indefinitely".
