Huge price difference - US vs AU sites

Always booked through the US site, with Australian address and CC

This appears to be broken now and has been for a couple months based on another thread. I could only get through using the El Segundo method (something I don't recall ever doing in over 15 yrs of booking occasional AA YUPPs) on a booking today.

At the billing page, if you try to change the default billing country from US to Oz, it will prompt you to search again on the OZ AA site. There used to be the ability to select "Other" or even leave country field blank and use Oz CC and address. Very silly given that you can usually get the same flights and fares on Expedia etc

I have found the need to either use private browsing and/or a tool to spoof my location to the USA in recent times.

Otherwise AA.com is persistent in wanting to use the .au portal.
