The revamped Huanggang Port becomes the first Hong Kong-mainland China checkpoint to use a joint clearance system, with passengers only having to show their documents once.
Huanggang Checkpoint between Hong Kong and China has opened and it claimed to only need to clear immigration once at the checkpoint.
Does anyone know how it works for people on Australian passport?
Furthermore, if you go to any of the checkpoints after your Qantas or Cathay Pacific service from Australia, going to Terminal 2 for a direct bus service is much more expensive. With a family of 2 or more, it is better to catch a taxi instead to the checkpoint.
If you want to travel cheaply, catch A33X then change at Tuen Mun for B15 bus.
