How to: Sydney Chicago on points

My wife and I need to go to Chicago in June. We have about 700,000 points between us with QANTAS. Want to travel in better than economy. At this time of the year what are my best options?

Try LAX or DFW out of MEL,BNE and SYD straight away for J seats on points.

It also seems that if you ring them these days that there are a lot of extra options available. You would have to pay the 3500 points assisted fee though.

Try searching on qantas.com.au for all the direct flights, e.g. Brisbane - Los Angeles, Sydney - Los Angeles, Melbourne - Los Angeles and Sydney - Dallas Fort Worth.
