I posted on AFF today about two Hilton bookings in MEL, which suddenly struck a chord of panic as I had no idea why I had booked a three night stay!

I have never needed a diary in my life and the brain has always got me to the chapel on time, but I have, for about a year or so now, noticed my memory is not what it used to be. I use the iPhone calendar heaps of late but it's hard to get into the habit, habitually!

What is your sure-fire way of remembering travel appointments?

(BTW, my +1 was able to remind me it was for the Monet exhibition in MEL).............

Yours

Hopelessly lost!

I forward everything to TRIPIT www.tripit.com , it looks after the rest!

Likewise, and I have FlightTrack Pro set to automatically sync all my flight details from TripIt so I can check flight status on the go on my iPhone/iPad. It's been an invaluable combo over my last couple of years of almost weekly flying.

I've also got Tripit setup to publish my travel plans to a calendar feed which I pickup in Google Calendar. It means I can see at a glance where I'll be on a certain date when making other commitments.

I just seem to know ... I do use tripit (basic) to generate my itineries.

I have a MEL-AKL,AKL-SYD-LAX,LAX-MSP-MCO,MCI-LGA-FLL,MCO-MSP-LAX, LAX-AKL-MEL coming up in June which I simply just typed. There are six separate bookings there.

With that there are two car rentals, two hotel stays and one guested stay.

Of course there are fine details, like how to get to the NASA museum at KSC and how to drive from Boca Raton to Orlando (oh - and what wine to get for my Boca Raton hosts).

My biggest issue is to remember to the duty free ...
