  1. Hi
Three of us flying Jetstar Mel - Honolulu return late March on a very cheap intro fare, would like to know the chance of obtaining upgrade to Star Class on arrival at airport, do you just ask if available/are they sometimes offered at a cheaper rate? I know there are seats available now but Jestst are asking quite alot to upgrade to Star Class at this point in time
Has anyone done this journey yet, have heard some not so good stories about meals etc...any advice/tips would be appreciated.
    Thanks

As posted over at Flyertalk, you could try this URL and see if you're eligible for an upgrade for $200/$300 each way:

Jetstar Airways Cheap Flights, Low Fares all day everyday from the world's best Cheap Fare airline | PNR Lookup

You will need to enter in your reference and surname I do believe.

From what I've read, upgrades to HNL are not really available. I presume there is sufficient "premium" market for them to not care about cheap upgraders.

    Not really sure.

I havn't heard of any "check-in" upgrades being available for Jetstar yet.

As I understand it....the food is the same for either class.

However with StarClass it is included...and one would assume you are served it more quickly....

There are trip reports on this forum....and they seemed happy enough with the food.
