How to book EK flight with QF flight number CMB - DXB - LHR

Hi,
So I want to book a EK flight from CMB (Colombo, Sri Lanka) to LHR with stop in DXB with a QF code to earn SC etc etc. Not sure if I could upgrade either but I would if I could.
Now the Qantas website doesn't let me book any flights from Colombo, is there a work around?

You can call QF. QF do publish fares for CMB/LHR so they will sell it to you. Just a heads up that QF do not codeshare on EK flights for CMB-DXB so you won't earn any SC's. The QF fares do allow you to use UL for CMB-DXB though so you could possibly earn something by flying UL instead of EK.

Not quite, no SC earn on an EK flight number, but eligible fares will earn points.
