Agreed. I sometimes realise just how racist Australia actually is. If this guy was an Aussie then this whole forum would be moaning about the Qantas Management Team as opposed to Alan Joyce.

The OP was asking how short is Alan Joyce? Is this any different to asking how tall is Alan Joyce?

Yes, one question is perceived as being more "politically incorrect" than the other, but can it be considered a 'personal attack'? How the heck do you debate someones height?

FFS! He's either a particular height or he's not.

FYI; I'm 183cm, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it! Simple statement of fact. (and Spruce, weight didn't come into the question!)

I can't see how this is any problem. He's asking specifically due to the media circus created around it. It doesn't necessarily mean the OP's going to use it to write a string of "dance on a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow for some Guinness little leprechaun!" jokes.

Agreed, it should play no part in the argument but I can understand the curiousity given what the media's done with it.

It's really impossible to tell from those photos. Sylvester Stallone is known to wear built-up shoes, so he always looks taller. Not to say that Alan Joyce does this but it's diffficult to estimate his height just from those photos.
