I am planning on booking a " round the world " trip for August/September 2023, in August this year. The trip will be around 8 weeks in length. Will I have to wait until a year before the last flight of the trip before I can book ?

You dont say if this is paid or award?

If a OWA for example, you can book legs as they become available, there will be a change fee of 6k points each time. Waiting to all dates are released may see you miss premium outbound legs.

If paid, then just wait until Sept 22 when all legs are released.

It will be with my ff points.

Well I did head over to that thread and it seems that all the comments just follow each other ? I couldnt see where to start a separate question. I did get a couple of helpful responses though.
