How much is an xONEx out of JNB?

We have a DONE4 JNB-lhr-vce-lhr-yvr-DFW-LIR-DFW-JFK -lax-Mel-bne-Mel-syd-JNB for about 82 hours in the air

When was this and how much did you pay if you don't mind please.
I heard xONEx trips ex JNB can be excellent value.

Booked this trip last month for 2014 and rang AA in Dallas to book and price and then paid AA in Capetown in Rand...came to about $7800AUD which,in my view, is sensational

Nice ! Agree solid value esp now that the ex-Sudan deal seems to have jumped in price.

Re: hours in the air 70-80 doesn't seem particularly high for a RTW/ONE type fare. I'm booked for MEL-KUL-IST-GRU return in June/July for the world cup and that's 64 hours+ of flying time.

South Africa is now not nearly as cheap as it once was. The base fare for a DONE4 went up about 23% earlier this year.

Sudan is cheaper, but JNB is definitely easier to get to.

I thought that xONEx ex-KRT had a huge jump in price earlier this year ?
There was alot of talk on it on FT.

If its still cheaper than JNB, can someone kindly put up the prices for all aONEx and dONEx's please ?

I think DONE* and AONE* (but not LONE*) out of SAH are a tiny bit cheaper than out of JNB, however since Yemen counts are Europe you can drop one continent if you weren't going to Africa anyway. I haven't booked one, but saw that in the list I was looking at a few weeks ago.

It'll be interesting to see if they change in price soon since SAH gets better connectivity with Qatar in the alliance (previously it was just RJ to AMM)
