Just noticed on my Velocity account:

Earned: 1.2M
Spent: 1M

Was quite surprised at those numbers but I feel I've had good value from them.

I don’t think mine is right - I assume when you book and cancel using points it adds it to the earned and spent. And I’ve done a few of those!

Mine is not that high, maybe 200,000 earned, and about that spent, (over 14 years, of course, not in one year).
Don't tend to amass points, someone I know lost quite a lot in the Ansett system when their FF system went kaput with the airline.
Maybe 15% from flying (joined VFF in 2005), a lot from the FB collection system.
Pity that the SC collecting system is not up to scratch, sometimes my family spend $500 to $600 for a larger family group, in a month, but the SC earn from FB never goes to 5 or 6 VFF SC.

Not my preferred program. However, I did make the mistake of largely ignoring it for many years which was a mistake as there are some easy point earns from time to time.

I am holding onto my red status firmly and really enjoy doing J redemptions.
Had never looked and I can tell you now I have only redeemed 2.5 million on domestic runs.

Earned: 1,951,603
Redeemed: 1,882,300

But currently checking daily for 2x J rewards from LAX which will add another 191,000 to the redeemed column.
Not sure how that works as it’ll push my redeemed total to be more than my earn.

1,598,962 since 2008 - redeemed 1,568,958 since 2016.

Includes our upcoming 2 x return J rewards SYD-LAX, plus return Economy X upgrade for 6 kids on the same flights. Still another 120k lurking in daughters account which we'll utilize for the return LAX-LAS flights to Vegas for herself and partner.

Love smashing those points!

Earned 2,359,588
Redeemed 2,055,259

Think I joined 2012, move across from Qantas in the great status match of around that period. Generally have spent them well I think, J upgrades SQ J redemptions.

I've got roughly ~500k earned and ~200k redeemed. What about points hoarders, as in those who earn a stack but for one reason or another refuse to redeem them. I have a friend who has shown me their balance with another airline which was in the millions yet he simply pays for his flights. I guess if you earn a lot of money you don't really need to scour through award seat availabilities...

Tend to not have favourites across 6 FF and 1 hotel reward schemes keeping SQ and DL separate to VA and EK and CX separate to QF.
Surprised to have reached an 8 figure earn amount with VA and a few million in balance.

Earned 351,473
Redeemed 203,160

Mostly comes from credit card transfers. Rest are from BP and flying VA.

Earned 623,388
Redeemed 429,211

Latest redemption was 2 nights ago - J reward seat in Sept, SYD-LAX

Earned 1,677,473

Redeemed 836,600

Since Nov 2015.

Have another 120,000 waiting to be awarded from a recent CC sign up.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

redeemed 406k for Sydney to London in J on the 330 day mark for August 19

Yes we use the points for domestic runs because of availability. We use Kris Miles for international.
I do like to have quite a bank of both and would feel impoverished if that bank slipped below 7 figures.

VA is not my preferred airline however:

Earned 1,299,334
Redeemed 1,173,879
