I have maintained that F Lounge Access has never been that important to me on my international travel but having made a couple of long haul EY trips I think my view might be changing. In my, somewhat limited brain, I thought I made a handful of F Lounge visits a year, but in reality, when I take SIN/LHR/AKL etc etc into consideration it soon adds up.

I'm interested to know how many visits others make, I'm sure there will be some pretty big numbers.

My breakdown is as follows for this year.....and PVG F is the worst!!!!!!!

19 in total for me:

SYD 7
HKG 5
BKK 2
SIN 2
LHR 1
JED 2 (first in name only)

I have only counted flights out of a port with an F lounge and not lounges I have visited on a lounge crawl ;)

Bne has an F lounge? I thought they were only in Syd and Melb?

At a quick count this is my score so far this year:

MEL 11
MNL 4
HKG 16
SYD 3
SIN 5
LGW 2
LHR 4
LAX 1
RUH 2
BNE 1
TPE 1
BKK 1

I have excluded ports without F Lounges and only counted one per departure (in some cases I may have visited multiple F Lounges on the one stay like at HKG)

Edit - oops. I need to change my vote. I estimated 41-50 visits and I am already exceeding that...

So far twice last year, and another visit later this month
That is why I am very critical of anyone who wants to move the goal posts for access. Not everyone can get up to the higher echelons and have FLounge access on tap, so any time I see someone being blase about the whole thing and or wanting to make access harder to achieve, I do have something to say.

More than I thought this year.

MEL: 2
SYD: 2
SIN: 2
LHR: 2
BNE: 1
HKG: 1

Usually 15 – 20 but this year
SYD 5
MEL 1
BNE 3
BKK 1
AKL 3
LHR 3 (CCR 2 & T3 GF 1)
DBX 1
SIN 1
LHR 1
LAX 3
MIA 1
JFK 1 CCR (did visit GF before CCR opening & GT for facial)
HKG 1
My ratings on the above
CCR JFK & LHR F pax (book cabana for four hours esp flying from USA lock myself in and have a sleep and shower [due to a seven hour min lay over and having travelled for over 24hrs]); SYD F, MEL F, BA GF JFK & LHR T3;
AA Flagship LAX & MIA; QF HKG over crowded (no time for CX visit); Skyview SIN also over crowded but friendly staff
Lastly rated mainly by size BA GF DXB, QF AKL, BBK & BNE (although BBK did have wait staff)

I am not going to mention my numbers but no where near any of the one that have all been quoted. Mine is around 6.

So far this year for me (if we're counting both Int F and Dom F);

MEL 2
HKG 4
SIN 4
FRA 4
SYD 8
LHR 1

and most probably another 6 or so before the end of the year...

How some of you (dot in particular) find to time to do anything else (you know, trivial stuff like live and work :p) in between your flying escapes me. :)

This year (I don't really have 'patterns'):

MEL 5
SYD 2
SIN 2
LAX 1
AKL 1

I have taken the last 12 months and tally is;

10 SYD
5 SIN
4 LHR
3 BKK
2 AKL
1 FRA

Sadly I cannot compete - I have had one F lounge visit, in Melbourne on our way to NYC a couple of weeks ago (we had received a points upgrade to F). Unless the AA Flagship lounge counts - we were allowed in there at JFK when we were leaving on Tuesday.

Also in LAX, because we'd done another upgrade to F, we got to use the First Oneworld lounge in TBIT - but I can't see how it was any different to the other Oneworld lounge there! Funny, the dragon on the desk told us to go to the other lounge at first then realised our BPs said First on them. Hehehe.

So actually perhaps three but of these the only real FLounge experience to me is the Qantas one in MEL.

It sure does. It is tiny and not very well stocked and bares no comparison to MEL or SYD.

But at least the Jim Bean (white) was mysteriously upgraded to Jack Daniels a little while after my little DYWKIA tanty in a thread somewhere ;)

None yet, first scheduled for next year. Oh one in the J/F Singapore lounge, does that count ?

Mel 2
sin 2
lhr 6
jfk 1
ord 2
lax 4

Have assumed international F only
