How many current passports do you have???

I know 3 people that have passorts issued by 3 countries.

1: Brazil, Uk, Australia
2: USA, UK, Australia
3: Switzerland, UK, Australia

I have 2 (UK and Australia) and could have applied for a third but left it at 2.

How many different and current passports do you have, specifically from other countries rather than a special Australian one?

The problem is presenting the wrong passport on leaving the said country you have just visited because you used another to come in and another to go out. The line behind you gets longer when this happens....

I'm one of the 1,000,000 + Aussies that have the dual Australian/ British passport.

Quite handy , but can't see myself living back in the
" Motherland " anytime soon.

Any negative to having dual (apart from presenting wrong passport) ?

I have the opportunity to get an EU (Scandinavia) passport but am trying to now work out the negatives i.e does AU treat you any differently in an incident / evac on foreign soil?
Taxation issues ?

NM .. I have just answered my own questions ... Ok this thread has just kicked me into gear and am applying for dual citizenship of birth parents. EU passport her I come.

I have only one (Australian) passport. But am an "overseas citizen" of another country and get to have a "registration" card of said not-quite-citizenship

Only one, but could get a pommy one if I tried hard enough. Mrs now has Australian, she didn't renew her Canadian one, also if she tried hard enough she could probably get an EU one as well.

I did that last year. Entered Germany on my EU (British) passport and left Spain on my Aussie.
The Spanish official could not find my entry stamp so asked how I entered Spain. I replied it was ex Germany, he answered hmmm possibly thinking slack Germans then just waved me goodbye. I must have a look if he exit stamped my passport.

Mmmm a bit of quick googling may indicate that consular assistance is available.

I think the safe usage of dual passport would be to enter a country using your AU passport where possible unless you need additional benefits not provided by the AU passport such as extended time, movement without visa etc. And I'd be ensure to exit / enter AU on the Au passport.
