How long to points take to be refunded into account after cancelled booking?

Hi,

I had to cancel a reward booking because a connecting flight on another airline was cancelled and I couldn't make my award flight - I was told the points would be back in my account within 24 hrs but after 5 days I still haven't got them (I was hoping to re-book), does anyone know how long this usually takes? And after 5 days do I need to give the service centre another call?

If it was an any seat reward - I got mine back today 2 hours after cancelling. So just give them a call.
 
I always call the service centre and tell them I need to make another booking with the points. Usually takes no more than half an hour to have the points recredited.
