The most time in a domestic lounge is about 5 hours, which coincidentally was a couple of weeks ago in SYD J. Time passes quickly while sitting at the benches observing people.

Record for SYD F is 6.5 hours. Spa, lunch, bottle of Rockfords Basket Press, trip to the J Lounge downstairs and dinner back upstairs filled the time before a three-hour flight to WLG.

Basket Press in the Flounge?
I didn't know Robert supplied Qantas

15.35pm touch down in SYDd tomorrow, have a 17.20pm flight out to WLG.
Will I be crying that I have missed an evening meal and view of SYD QPi, this is the opposite to the gist of the OP.
(((I want more flights from ADL to SYD, and I want it NOW, dont think I can make it... by the time I get across from SYDd to SYDi airports, and pass Immi and international security... meh!... bugga. Am I drunk, yes, am I mad, yes, am I angry, yes, am I flying tomorrow, I want to.
As they say, Thanks for Sharing, you all.
Come back to Australia (ADL) late Mon night, then, the saga continues...
Tue I have an even shorter time to work my "magic" across from SYDd to SYDi to get a flight from SYD to CHC.
Worst is that as my domestic flights are linked to my international flight, I can't do OLCI for my QF domestic flights!
Is the website Qantas sucks still up?

For member Ausbt, you must have a compatriot to pull it off mate.
A single person can never pull that one off, ie, a single person cant rent a QF meeting room for their sole use, but if there are two or more, it could work.
This now has been (31 Dec 14), will be first year of QP. Will I renew, yep, sure will, via here of course.
Cider in the QP is no longer per bottle, decanted into a glass with ice. Not good, not strong enough.
I prefer the VA lounge, where they give a bottle, so you can experiment with it, ie, pour a bit of cider into an orange and apple juice cup, and test taste.
Must try grog in the QP one of these days. OR what they call it, soft plonk.
