My last CR on BA (last year) took a couple of weeks to land.BA flight numbers booked as QFF classic reward flights havent shown on activity statement at all after over a week.
Late reply - but I took two AA flights recently (same day, connecting flights).Just wondering if anyone has any recent data points on this front? Took an AA flight last Wednesday across the Atlantic and yet to be awarded any points or status credits despite it showing on the ticket.
I know Emirates is about 2 days so I would have thought AA would be the same.

Sorry just saw this one. They did not post so I have followed up with Qantas and just got this interesting reply.Posted by now?
As long as the fare/booking class is listed in the earning table (which of course excludes the reward fare classes like X for example): https://www.qantas.com/au/en/freque...s/earn-category-tables.html#american-airlinesSorry just saw this one. "The claim you made for missing Qantas Points submitted on XX-Dec-2024 has been processed but was UNSUCCESSFUL - AIRFARE AND BOOKING CLASS NOT ELIGIBLE TO EARN."
I was always under the impression that all flights taken with an AA flight code were eligible for status credits and points given both carriers are part of the oneworld alliance and the joint venture. The flights were all booked via the US version of the American Airlines website and into economy (the base fare due to Sapphire perks) so really unsure about this.
Yes I found that out the hard wayAs long as the fare/booking class is listed in the earning table (which of course excludes the reward fare classes like X for example): https://www.qantas.com/au/en/freque...s/earn-category-tables.html#american-airlines
The trip confirmation and receipt email from AA when you booked should have the booking class.
Whilst writing this, I did another check and have found that AA Basic Economy fares that book into B are not included in the Qantas earn table, so these would earn zero QFF points and SCs unfortunately.
Thanks that great intel and very strange not all classes are covered. Turns out I was booked into B. Missed out on about 40 status credits as a result. As long as the fare/booking class is listed in the earning table (which of course excludes the reward fare classes like X for example): https://www.qantas.com/au/en/freque...s/earn-category-tables.html#american-airlines

Must be getting much better. Flew Cathay Melbourne to New York on Sunday and points were in my account by Tuesday.Cathay is taking a long time at the moment
Cathay always credits Tuesday evening to QFF. Not sure about Tuesday flights, but definitely for everything from Wednesday to the day before. I've found it very reliable, don't think I've ever had to put in a claim, for dozens of flights in the last few years at least.Must be getting much better. I’ll see how that tracks - I’ve had 4 already and 4 more CX flights coming this year. So far so good and generally for years they’ve been fine but as mentioned upthread, I did have some sectors “no show” two years ago, and they were needed to retain QF WP! Fortunately sorted quickly.Cathay always credits Tuesday evening to QFF. Not sure about Tuesday flights, but definitely for everything from Wednesday to the day before.
