This has got me scratching my head:

How do you use this??

When I enter my origin city, it automatically populates the final destination as the same. So It can't be used for one-way with special routing. Then I can only choose two more destinations before the final one, which doesn't make sense because it's an odd number of segments to get back to where you started. Also, you have to put in dates, but of course with LifeMiles you can't have a stopover so you can't choose consecutive dates, but you also can't choose the same dates.

I just don't get it. Can someone please spell it out to me because I'm obviously looking at this from the wrong direction?

Although I don't post here much, I've followed LM closely on FT for the last two years, and nobody seems to use the multi-city tool at all. I can't think of any advantages and most people just do the one way tickets.

Its for booking a route with stopovers like Singapore - tokyo-hong kong -Singapore. Prices each separately

Thanks Maverick, I'd also read about LM extensively and haven't heard it mentioned in detail at all.

Aussie_Flyer, that's what I'd assume. That seems to work when you choose the TACA/Avianca airline option and only select airports that they service. However, when you choose the Star Alliance carrier option it changes the way the form works into the particularly useless presentation I mentioned in my first post.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Maybe if you're booking multiple flights you could save on the transaction/ticketing fees was the only advantage I was thinking about after I commented before, but since it prices each leg separate I'm not sure if it charges fees separate too.

You can use it to book all flights in one transaction, that's about all.
