How does Accor treat you as an Elite guest?

That screengrab misses in the platinum column: "Only in Asia-Pacific hotels – except Georgia and Kazakhstan." And in the diamond column: "On weekends worldwide & every day in Asia Pacific only.
It wasn’t omitted intentionally, but I just couldn’t make it fit using my phone.

If the weekend breakfast benefit is not available to Platinum members, why is it mentioned at all in the platinum benefit column?

It’s also in conflict ith the link you posted.

Maybe Accor has outsourced writing its T&Cs to the Qantas work experience kids. 🤷🏻‍♂️

To me the platinum benefit applicability is clear in @markis10's image based on the separate columns for plarinum and diamond.

From the app, you can see the regional specifics. Attached is a snip of the applicable area, as well as one of most of the screen as shown for Platinum.

If the weekend breakfast benefit is not available to Platinum members, why is it mentioned at all in the platinum benefit column?

Because it's available in the Asia-Pacific region.

The link I posted states:

From Diamond status, members of ALL enjoy complimentary breakfast at weekends when they book a stay through direct channels.

The standard breakfast will be served free of charge to all persons staying in the member's room (unless otherwise indicated in the Special Conditions of the reservation) during the breakfast service hours at the hotel. It does not include room service or tips.

In Asia Pacific, members of ALL Accor from Platinum status (and registered guests staying in the same room) enjoy complimentary breakfast throughout the week in hotels and resorts
, subject to hotel’s lounge or restaurant conditions and hours of operation at time of stay. Members may choose to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant or in the lounge, where available. [Emphasis added]

As an exception, for stays at The Hoxton hotels, a breakfast bag will be placed outside the Member's door.

Access to Fairmont Gold Lounge at Fairmont is included from the Diamond status, for up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Agreed. Yet that’s inconsistent with other parts of the Accor website.

Agree, and these screenshots also say weekend breakfast for Platinum.

The link I posted states:
Also clear. But in conflict with other parts of the Accor website.

Anyhow, I’m not trying to win an argument.

The bottom line for me is that for the entire time I’ve been Platinum (~6 years) I have consistently been given weekend breakfast outside APAC, most recently in Jan.

YMMV.

Agree, and these screenshots also say weekend breakfast for Platinum.

Also clear. But in conflict with other parts of the Accor website.
Which part of the website? I can't see anything that points to availability of free breakfast for plats outside the Asia-Pacific.

When in doubt I always check the t&c’s for clarification:

9.5 Complimentary breakfast
This benefit offers Members – from Diamond Status upwards – a standard weekend breakfast service (excluding room service and tips) for any eligible stay carried out at hotels participating in this offer. This benefit is available to the Member, as well as the occupants of their room.

At the time of booking, the member can select specific offers, which include breakfast on the nights in question (only weekend nights). These offers are available on the direct channels listed below:
ALL Accor app,
ALL.com website,
via telephone by contacting the hotel or our call centre directly.
In the event of a booking involving several rooms, only the occupants of the room belonging to the Member who made the booking may avail of the complimentary breakfast.
If the Member arrives at the hotel without selecting the dedicated offer when booking or does not have a booking, they may request the complimentary breakfast on weekends at the time of check-in.
However, if the Member makes a booking by selecting a rate (other than the dedicated complimentary breakfast rate), where breakfast is already included for the entire duration of the stay, no deduction for the value of the breakfast (or refund if it is a pre-paid booking) shall be applied retroactively for weekends.
The nights covered by this benefit depend on the country of the hotel, as described below:
Thursday and Friday nights for following countries: Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya and Comoros, i.e. a complimentary breakfast on Friday morning and on Saturday morning.
Friday and Saturday nights in the rest of the world, i.e. a complimentary breakfast on Saturday morning and on Sunday morning.
In Asia-Pacific (except in the following countries: Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan), this benefit is available to Members throughout the week from Platinum Status and above, in participating hotels and resorts as follows:
In hotels with an executive lounge offer breakfast in their executive lounge.
In hotels that do not have an executive lounge, breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant.
This offer does not apply to Gold lounges at Fairmont Hotels. As an exception, for stays at The Hoxton hotels, a breakfast bag will be placed outside the Member's door.
This offer is not available in every participating hotels of ALL Accor programme. For instance, hotels that do not have a restaurant and those that only offer rates which include breakfast are excluded from this offer.

Which part of the website? I can't see anything that points to availability of free breakfast for plats outside the Asia-Pacific.

On mobile I searched "Accor platinum benefits".

Selection the first non-advertising result I scrolled down to the menu option to select status.

I selected "platinum" and scrolled down to the breakfast benefit.

It says on the mobile site: "From the status PLATINUM*"

That asterisk is important because at the bottom of the page it says "*Only in Asia-Pacific hotels".

Property: Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Thamrin CBD
Status: Explorer+ Platinum
Room booked: Base King room
Room upgraded/type: Yes, to Junior Suite
Rate: Accor plus, some sale rate $320 for 2 nights
Early check in/late out: Not required, but offered
Free internet: Yes
Free breakfast: Yes, in lounge or buffet restaurant
Welcome drink: Yes, at macaron or chocolate bar
Welcome amenity: Fancy chocolate truffles
Recommend: Great value, super central location, and even better once the MRT is all constructed and up and running.

Jakarta is always great value for hotels. Pullman is one of the classic luxury hotels here on the same roundabout as the Kempinski, the Mandarin Oriental and Grant Hyatt. Service standard is way above average of the usual Pullman.Proactive service from all staff, great upgrade, breakfast is great, a la carte menu for breakfast and dinner at the lounge, comfortable room with all the required amenities. It's not the newest, but everything is solidly there. Rate is crazy good value if you're platinum so you can access lounge + get upgraded. Location is super convenient, MRT stop and number 1 bus right outside your doorstep,. Construction going on at the moment for an underground tunnel that links hotel with the opposite Grand Indonesia mall. Once that's complete, you don't even have to navigate Jakarta traffic to get to essentially the best mall in Indonesia with everything you could need.

Property: Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua
Status: Explorer+ Platinum
Room booked: Base King room
Room upgraded/type: Yes, to Honeymoon Suite!!
Rate: Used stay plus - around $300 for the two nights.
Early check in/late out: Late checkout until 2pm
Free internet: Yes
Free breakfast: Yes, in lounge or buffet restaurant
Welcome drink: Yes
Welcome amenity: Fruits box
Recommend: Yes if you just want to chill at the resort, no if you want to travel around.

Nusa Dua is such a different vibe from the rest of Bali, you're so sheltered from anything that isn't your resort or a copy of your resort a thousand times over on either side of you. But for this occasion, we just wanted to laze about in the pool and enjoy the resort and it worked well.
Apparently the hotel was booked out, so they upgraded our base king room to a suite!! with plunge pool. Obviously not to be expected when we return, but crazy luck we had this time around and we made sure to enjoy it. No need to brave the crowds at the pool during the day!
With Accor Explorer discount applied, food was not too crazy even though you're essentially trapped there in Nusa Dua, with not so many affordable options unless you venture out the gates by calling Grab or something. With the lounge offerings especially the happy hour drinks and canapés, you could even get 70-80% of your stomach filled for dinner, so for both dinners we ordered one main to share and that was more than enough. Free drink vouchers came in handy for lunch/dinner too. Overall, not as spenny as initially expected. If you weren't platinum and or explorer without lounge access though, I'd probably not come here as the bill can rank up quick. It's a nice resort, nothing to complain about, but a bit 'boring' if you're looking for more than a beach/pool/spa holiday.

Property: Novotel Suites München Parkstadt Schwabing
Status: Platinum Explorer
Rate: 850 EUR (3 nights)
Room booked: Superior Suite
Room upgraded/type: No
Early check in/late out: Not required, did not asked
Welcome drink: No, vouchers mysteriously disappeared from the app and front desk said no voucher = no drink
Welcome amenity: No
Recommend: Absolutely Not

This should have been an ibis. the bathrooms were exactly like ibis, tiniest possible.
Absolutely zero status recognition, did not get offered breakfast even on weekends. As mentioned denied welcome drinks as the vouchers went missing in the app.

Property: Novotel Madrid Center
Status: Platinum Explorer
Rate: 712 EUR (2 nights)
Room booked: Executive Room with queen-size bed and lounge area
Room upgraded/type: No
Early check in/late out: Asked for 1 hour late checkout & denied
Welcome drink: Yes
Welcome amenity: Yes, dip and crackers
Recommend: Not unless you have to be in the area

Again absolutely zero status recognition. Late checkout denied point blank.

Sounds like a coughpy experience.

Why does Accor do so much better in APAC?

Hotel: Mercure Chengdu downtown
Status: Accor + Explorer Platinum
Room booked: Superior (base)
Room upgrade: No
Rate: 1650 CNY (~$350 AUD) for 3 nights
Early Check-in : No
Late Check-out: No
Free Breakfast: Yes but looks to be included in all rooms
Free wifi: Did not try to use (China paranoia)
Welcome drink: No
Welcome amenity: No
Recommend: No x1000

Zero recognition of status. No welcome drink vouchers available in app and when asking at front desk (as a google search had suggested it should be available at this property) suddenly no one spoke English. I'm actually not complaining about that - I can't speak Mandarin so it's only fair.

Breakfast actually pretty good - awful coffee of course. But as long as you got there soon after opening (0630) food was hot and fresh. After that the bain maries did not keep anything even vaguely lukewarm.

But the entire property was dingy and dirty. Couldn't actually see out the windows they were that grimy. Shower head broken. There were bare nails sticking out of the walls at knee height. And despite all the non smoking signs, everyone (especially staff) were constantly smoking inside with their nasty ciggie butts shoved onto any surface available. Disgusting.

Property: Sebel Twin Towns Coolangatta
Status: Gold explorer
Rate: $560 for 2 nights (all bookings including breakfast)
Room booked: Standard Queen
Room upgraded/type: King suite with living room and kitchenette
Early check in/late out: not required
Welcome drink: Yes but only 2 vouchers, didn’t use as we went out both nights but hotel bar only open during happy hour with vouchers otherwise redeemable at Twin Towns services club
Welcome amenity: Yes - small box of chocolates
Recommend: Comfortable room, good amenities and breakfast and good Accor recognition. No accor restaurant on site. Gold members and above get access to “The Den” with coffee machine and some snacks and soft drinks at various times of the day. I didn’t really use it but it was a nice touch.

Breakfast was better than expected with fresh egg station as well as a wide range of buffet items. No trouble getting a table.

Checkin was a little slow but room upgrade was appreciated (I don’t think they said anything at the check-in). They did carefully explain all the features and how to use them (e.g. car park) and this was helpful as car park did require some explaining.

upgraded room was huge.. Bed was comfortable and a/c worked well.

While we wouldn’t usually seek out this property (staying for a family event nearby) it met our needs and we felt well looked after.

As a recently minted Gold Explorer member, I was keen to share my first Accor adventure outside of Oz. I just spent the past week in KL, and was keen to split the 6 nights between the Pullman and Novotel, based on the feedback I researched here...

Hotel: Pullman City Centre
Status: Gold Explorer
Room booked: Club Room
Room upgrade: Club Suite
Early Check-in : N/A
Late Check-out: Yes (requested and confirmed)
Free Breakfast: Lounge & general dining area (Not outstanding, but acceptable)
Free wifi: Was reliable
Welcome drink: Yes
Welcome amenity: Yes, a small assortment of sweet treats
Exec Lounge: This is on par with some of the nicer hotel lounges I've visited across Accor Asia, and other hotel programs. Venue is spacious, with plenty of seating options. Dead quiet duing the day (as expected), and was anticipating it to be crowded at free nightly 'happy' hour, but it wasn't at all. Though table service for drink orders, and also had to place an order for the small plate of 3 hors d'oeuvres, plus there were self-serve cold food bites, cheese, crackers, etc options. Felt this was a highly restrained service from what other lounge setups offer. (I fed this back to hotel management)
Recommend: No complaints here. Exec Lounge was an impressive, spacious relaxing area, Club Suite room - satisfactory, Pool area - underwhelming, Bar and dining areas - unremarkable but functional. Staff - a definite highlight. And as others have reported, the property is in a great central location.

Hotel: Novotel City Centre (250m walk from the Pullman)
Status: Gold Explorer
Room booked: Premier Room
Room upgrade: Premier Suite
Early Check-in : N/A
Late Check-out: N/A
Free Breakfast: Lounge & general dining area (Not outstanding, but acceptable)
Free wifi: Was reliable
Welcome drink: Yes
Welcome amenity: Yes, a tote bag
Recommend: First impressions - check-in/foyer area were underwhelming. To the right, there are lounge chairs and a bar. The suite offered a separate living/bedroom setup, and an oversized bathroom (that weirdly included the wardrobe!). Suite was a spacious area, albeit a little outdated decor and furniture. Premier Lounge - wasn't big, and had no character at all compared to the Pullman, though the lounge staff were excellent, and went over and above to make sure my choice of beverage was topped up during the 90min happy hour. Nightly nibbles included a few hot dishes, 2 fried bite options, plus a mix of cold meats, cheeses and salad items. It was far from award-winning, but it fitted the brief for a Novotel with a lounge.
Forget about the 'hot tube sized' pool area - If more than 6 people were in there, it would be overcrowded. Breakfast area was on the 1st floor. It was crowded every morning (I didn't try the premier lounge) - Not a huge variety of food options, more just the basics.
Again, Novotel staff overall were commendable, from bar staff that remembered me (and my order), to happy room attendants, and the friendly smiles from other staff around the property. As with the Pullman, you are in the thick of the action here. The Pavilion mall is a few minutes' walk, and the Bukit Bintang area is only a 20- 30 min walk as well.

Any questions? Ask away!

Hope this helps someone heading to this area soon.
