How does Accor treat you as an Elite guest?

I would have killed for that one day. I actually gave them the feedback that all those options were too similar. All were basically eggs and meat in a different form.

The breakfast is “all day” too (to 3 or 4pm) so if you are like me and hate getting up early after a big night you can have it during the day. We would often go for a walk in the morning and come back and have brunch or lunch

If you and @Daver6 need to get your fix there’s always Daark Espresso at Labrador on the Gold Coast.

They do the southern style fried chicken waffles… or for a variation, southern style fried chicken eggs Benedict.

Add grilled halloumi to either if you want to make it the full heart attack special.

From my faint memory of dining at Tesoro last year for dinner I do recall there being the usual 25% discount. Perhaps the 10% limit is for specific events (Most Accor hotels will limit the Accor+ dining discount to 10% for things like Father's Day or set price menus). I would recommend the restaurant though if you are dining in Hobart.

If you read the terms carefully you'll see that the 10% discount seems to be in reference to the set price menus. For instance under Lunch Pronto it has the language:

*Accor Plus members enjoy a 10% discount on this special set menu. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions.

So again I think it depends on what you order. From what I recall I ordered a-la carte which is maybe why I got the usual 25% discount.

I did and the preceding paragraph talks about the prix-fixe Chef's Roadtrip which leads me to believe that paragraph is in reference to the first paragraph. If you look at breakfast for instance there is no such language on the 10% Accor+ discount so the reduced discount seems to be limited to certain items on the menu. Other items, like a-la carte don't seem to be capped at 10%. That's at least my reading of it.

Not so sure about the all day breakfast. Perhaps the a la carte stuff. They definitely were closing up the buffet at 11am.

Admittedly it was two years ago but when 4 of us stayed and ate at Tesoro with 2 Accor Plus cards we got 50% off breakfast and dinner.
Of course policies may change.

Alternatively, if you wanted the nights in the previos year - settle bill and carry on. That wouldn’t normally work for promos but might work for stays/nights straddling member years?

This is better for me, but no properties are jumping out as superior based on value to the non-chain hotel I have booked with. Will keep looking.

Certainly QF hotels or Expedia etc will just reward points on completion. Worth considering if status nights with a chain are not in play (or needed).

You are on the money. Just looked at my last half dozen ALL stay transactions and they are all show activity date as checkout. I dn’t think splitting payment will shift this, fairly commonly I’ve paid for room charge upfront or night by night, but nothing ever credits till after I checkout.
