Just looking at seating preferences in QFF and I see you can prioritise Forward/Rear over Aisle/Window and vice versa.

There was a thread not long ago where, IIRC, someone didn't like getting a forward middle seat rather than an aisle a bit further back. I guess how you set your priorities might produce such a result. (It would be an unhappy one for me too!)

I was wondering whether, if you're a QFF member, you prioritise your forward/rear preference over your window/aisle preference, or used some other combination like prioritising upper deck first. Would be interesting to see if there was any correlation between preference order and unhappy outcomes like the one above.

Forward aisle.

Actually just had to check what priority I had as I'll generally switch to my preferred seat T-80 or as soon as the booking is made.

I have mine as forward aisle, but it always seems to prioritise aisle over forward on the rare occasions when I don't select my own seat at T-80.

ETA: I wish for domestic they had a third option in the window/aisle section that just said "not middle". I'm happy with either 4A or 4C!
