I do over 120 days of international travel a year. Many of the countries I visit require a visa before arrival eg. India, Saudi, Egypt, Nigeria. I only have one passport; so other than having dual nationalities (and 2 passports) is there a way that I can have my visa apps processed whilst my passport is with me overseas? I don't have so much time in Oz to be waiting a week or 2 for Visas to be processed. Does anyone else have this problem? Any workaround? Can I have 2 Australian passports?

Get yourself an ABN and apply for an APEC card; that will fix much of your your issue.

Thanks Serfty, Yep, I have the Apec Card but obviously only good for the Pacific region. Anything else, or do I just have to put up with cooling my heels in Oz whilst visas process?

Unlike many countries (eg UK) I do not believe Australia allows you to have two passports.

I think it comes down to juggling and paying the expedited processing fees
