How do you get sequence 1?

Tongue-in-cheek but still. I check in literally the second the flight opens, and the lowest sequence # I've ever got is around 12 or so.

Had it many times. The trick is a flight that is unlikely to have any connecting pax IME.

I've had Sequence 1 before, usually on the final domestic leg when checking in on a string of international flights back home. In that scenario I'm being checked in on the domestic flight before it technically opens for normal checkin at T+24.

JFK-LAX-SYD-CBR usually does the trick if there's a 4+ hour connection in LAX.

Same as others, I usually get Seq #1 and #2 for me and Mr Seat 0A when checking in for connections that are not yet down to T-24. I've had it for both domestic and international. Not every time, but quite a few.

I've had sequence 1 a few times - I try to get it as a bit of a laugh with MrsFletty.

This is one of my favourite boarding passes - so many 1s! (just missing Platinum 1)

Definitely had seq 1 before. Youre a bit of a cheat when you check in 48h+ before the flight due to all the connections and the flight time itself

Check in before any others on a flight.

Had it on 3 of 4 boarding passes this week.

I checked in at T-24 for the first segment of BNE-xAKL-xSYD-xSIN-xKUL.

Seq. No's were 13, 1, 1 & 1 respectively.

It was effectively T-51 for the KUL segmemt.

It used to be a lot more common when OLCI was a novelty and it was less important to checkin early to get a seat!
