Hi everyone,

Earlier this years I stayed in the US for a while and earned about 50k Marriot Rewards. Unfortunately I will not be in a position to use or earn any more until late next year I don't want them to lapse, so I think the best thing for them is to (if possible) convert them to QFF points.

On the QFF "earning points" page it seems to indicate that you can convert the points and am pretty sure I have spoken to someone that has. However I have logged on my Marriot Rewards page and can't find anything about transferring the points.

If anyone has done this or know how to do it, could you let me know how to do it?

Thanks,

Just exchanged them. 7000 QFF points for 30k Marriot points... Better than letting them lapse though

sure is. Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't aware it was an option until I saw your post and had a bit of time to look.....i had assumed it couldn't be done :)
I have a few Marriott points around somewhere. I'll have to see if there is enough to warrant a transfer

Reviving an old thread.....what would people prefer? ~60,000 Marriott points or 18,000 QFF points?

I suppose I could also go to USDM or AA as well for 12,000 points.

Have a long stay coming up and not sure whether Marriott points are worthwhile? Probably wouldn't ordinarily stay with them.

Anyone have a view? I've not had much to do with Marriott in the past but if they're a good program I could be convinced to leave them there. Most interested in convenient and affordable redemptions for free nights at international destinations.

Not a program I use much. But you'd have to look at point expiry and rooms costs.

I'd plunk for AA though. But everyone is different

Six months too late with this post, just looking through the Marriott link, but Marriot points dont expire, they are for life!

and an additional year to see your 6 months, but that link now shows marriott points to qff miles. are they the same as qff points?

Yes they are. I really don't like the conversion rate and find them far better value in hotel miles than FF miles. Other benefit is I'm Platinum Life with Marriott so always upgraded....
