Hi! FF-collecting newbie here. Next week I'm flying MEL-SYD then CBR-MEL for work (a touring show). The company I work for has booked the flights in my name. I'm very keen for the points and SCs but I'm also very new to the company so I don't want to make a fuss... I figure if I know the process in advance I'm more likely to be able to swing it! Can someone tell me (1) if it's possible for me to get FFs and SCs for these flights (paid for by someone else but booked in my name, probably Qantas but I'm not 100% sure) and (2) if so, how do I do this?

Thanks!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

This shouldn't be an issue, just go to the counter and ask them to put your FF number in the system and you will get the points and credits. Or you can call up and do it over the phone.

cheers,

If qantas, go to their homepage and select 'manage you booking'. The person who booked your flight should have given a booking reference number. Simply use this number to manage the booking and add your frequent flyer number to the booking. Should be the same process for Virgin but select 'My Booking' on their homepage.

Thank you both! Glad to hear it should be pretty straightforward. I'll ask them for the reference number :)
