Hi all,
I am going on a OneWorld RTW trip in September with the Mrs and Junior (1 year). We have planned our itinerary so that we have a day's stopover in a number of places.
I have QF Platinum status, so that will help immensely with using facilities at airports. I am now starting to book hotels in each location am hoping people can give some recommendations. I am not a member of any hotel loyalty program, so now might be a good time to join.
My tastes have changed over the years from backpackers to Quest like apartments and now I am looking for reasonable priced hotels. I don't care about business facilities or gyms or swimming pools. The most important facility is free or cheap internet.
Can people recommend some hotels based on their experiences.
Singapore - stopover only prefer near airport, but anywhere is ok as Singapore taxis are cheap.
London - stopover only must be near Heathrow or have reasonably priced hotel shuttle. Taxis are expensive and bus/train is not an option with a small one and baggage.
Helsinki - prefer downtown so that we can do some sight seeing.
Tallinn - prefer downtown
Hong Kong - stopover only prefer near airport or reasonably priced hotel shuttle.
Cheers,
MrHyde
