Hi All

I need some of your amazing experience in finding a hotel at JFK close to T7.

I will be in NY in July and will stay at the ST Regis for 4 nights, but as i have an early flight on Cathay I was thinking of staying at a place close to T7 to save the hassle of getting from Manhattan on the day i leave.

So any ideas?

Also has any one any Info Re F lounge for Cathay at T7?

Thanks for looking and your help with this

The subway from Manhattan takes less than an hour (blue line ' A' train) and the taxi's have a set fare, I found it to be not a hassle to get to JFK for a flight. I cannot recomend a hotel close to the airport though.

The lounges in T7 are BA, I found the first lounge very quiet and not a lot of eating options but nice selection of drinks, the J lounge is just next door and is brighter with more options for food.
The la carte eating area and spa seemed to be reserved for BA first customers, but I may not be 100% acurate as I was on the 00:50 flight to HKG.

Hope this helps.

The BA lounge eating areas at T7 are for BA first customers (and club world customers who choose to dine before flying).

There are serval hotels near the airport with shuttles to a drop off area from where you can catch the internal train that connects the terminals and car parks.

Thanks Grogan.

I have a great driver who picks me up and takes me around NY, he has been my driver for 15 years always reliable so getting to and from the airport is no problem. It the getting up super early thats a pain, and staying at the airport I thought would be a better option.

thank you for the info re F lounge.
