Hotel close to LAX for one night stopover.

Hi
We need a place to stay for one night whilst transiting LAX. Clean and comfortable and close to the airport.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We always used Embassy Suites (North) using the AAA rate. Happy hour and free breakfast worked well for us. Yes they have a free shuttle and they are part of Hilton.
 
I am faced with same situation in May but was shocked to see room rates.
