I'm off to HKG next week and planning a day trip to Macau while I'm there (via ferry).

Any issues with multiple entry at HKG on a visa waiver? I expect people do it all the time, but just had a feeling to check.

Side note - is HKG immigration pretty chill like SIN/HND etc these days? Hard not to get sucked in by the media panic of the National Security Law (NSL) that was passed recently.

It's still chill, for the average tourist ;)

I went through immigration then immediately turned and got my e-channel frequent visitor registration within 5mins.

Are you taking the ferry from HKG or somewhere else? And where do the ferries go to now? do they land in Macau near the International airport, or are they still going to the old ferry terminal? I lived in Macau for a bit, but it's all hazy now!

I've already returned from the trip, I didn't end up going to Macau as it was bucketing down all weekend so decided to spend it all in Honkers.

There were a couple of different ferries, the one I was looking at went to the Outer Harbour ferry terminal where allegedly you could get on to a Casino bus to take you to their property or close to the centre. If you wanted to go to the Venetian than the airport ferry one would be quicker.

In my time living there, we actually figured out entire circuits of connections that could be made to travel around the islands just using free casino courtesy shuttles. Quite convenient!

Yeah, when I was planning my day trip I was looking at Uber and one of the staff at Conrad HK told me just to use the casino shuttles, they're more reliable and free!
